MERak

Merak is an ICT company based in Barcelona, specialized in emergency communications with strong presence in the elevator industry. We design, produce and commercialize fixed and mobile line phone terminals, accessories and management systems under the European standard EN 81-28, essential for a secure communication in lifts and elevators. We have developed the concept of online elevator using M2M technology. It was founded in 1996. MERak has his own electronic engineering department (R&D) specialized in product and telecommunication service development adapted to the international legislation and the needs of their clients, in a constant process of technologic improvements.

MERak has been engaged for nearly 20 years to create useful and secure telecommunications systems. We develop innovative solutions that put technology at the service of people. In emergency situations, such as when someone is trapped in an elevator, the product MERak always fulfils.
